Project Five is a particular YouTube channel controlled by five young girls, Charlotte Pierro, Caitlin Koloski, Bella Mallon, Ruby Losinno and Ava Di Donato. As explained in my pitch, our DA is based on a group of girls who do the same activity for a week and by the end of that particular week we come together and see if our experiences made us happier.

Google defines Ideating as form an idea of; imagine or conceive. To be honest I did not understand the whole aspect of ideating, yet it is very easy!!
Our process of ideating for ‘Project Five’ began by one of our group members Bella Mallon reading a book overseas, called ‘The Happiness Project’ written by Gretchen Rubin, within the novel Gretchen Rubin wants to make her life happier, so she began to change little things within her life, and basically by the end of the year, she would be much more positive and happier in all aspects of her life. And therefore created Project Five!

Process of Ideating for Project Five in dot point form:
- Create a name for our group that fitted with each aspect of our personalities – Project Five
- Come up with what we wanted to upload on Youtube – things that would make us happier
- How long would the challenges be? – weekly challenges, we each film our own experiences and then put them all together in one video.
- what would be the point? – to see if these particular activities made us as individuals happier and to be and to entertain younger adults
- Upload video
The main reason as to why we are called Project Five is well because, there are Five of us, and there Five days in a week, predictable? Yeah we a know…….

Basically after we created our name, decided what we wanted to film and why we wanted to film, we had to think about how long each individual video would be, so therefore we decided on doing 10 second vlogs at some point of our day throughout the entire week and then we would edit them all together in one video. and once we reached the final day came we would come together as a group to film our opinions on that week and to rate our happiness levels.
Once we decided on the technical parts behind Project Five, we then had to begin filming our video! Within our group, I am the one who edits each video before they are posted on Youtube, when I am editing, I make sure each individual vlog which was filmed, flows together, the music is copyrighted and that each edit which is made on the video is entertaining and makes sense! I enjoy editing each video, as it gives myself a chance to showcase my skills within the technical aspects of the video. Each video we have so far posted has been filmed on my Canon 5MD camera.

Each week we have a different activity, and to decide on each activity we post a poll on twitter and which ever one is higher, we will start our week with that activity, for example, our first week, Ruby Losinno posted the poll and No complaining was the highest! Our first week was a struggle as no everyone remembered to film and we needed to create a vibe for our video!

Once we uploaded our first video, we witnessed our views becoming higher and higher, yet we are beginning to think about new ways we can keep our audience entertained and how we can bring in new audience members as well.

And there you have it! there is the ideating process behind Project Five, Stay tuned for more videos x

Hey Charlotte, I loved your post!
So beautifully set out and clear. The Project 5 logo is really working for me. After watching your last video, you have very seamlessly tied this logo style through your use of the “day #” title pages.
I really vibe this idea if I’m honest. It a genuinely intriguing concept however, you aren’t personal enough in the delivery of your videos, this is definitely because you guys forgot to film. I would’ve liked to feel like I was witnessing your day in it’s rawest form, not like a second hand report when you say you broke a nail, or forgot a jumper. I want to see the reaction of these mishaps first hand.
Great first step, there is heaps of potential here.
I want to commend you on your organisation of five people, that is working so well.
As far as the execution of your blog post goes, before you submit maybe try interacting with some of the concepts the lecture has discussed EG. FEFO, Starter-pack, FIST. Evaluate your progress against these concepts.
Love you guys heaps,
Keep it up !

This is a really well written and engaging post. The idea is also fascinating and sounds like a lot of fun. It definitely has the potential to attract a strong audience and following. It could possibly be improved through more audience engagement and general cohesiveness, although this could be said about a majority of projects. As for the blog post, it is really well-written and easy to understand. It could maybe be improved through a little more connection to concepts discussed in lectures. Overall, the blog post and project in a whole look great. Good luck!
