Well here you have it, we are have arrived at the second chapter (module) of our Digital Artefact, we have experienced several ups and downs throughout this period of time, and lets just put it this way….. we have basically changed our original idea into something else…..

Again, laziness has hit Project Five like a massive rock, we have not improved our channel and have not put in a lot of effort either. I have been struggling with the motivation to edit videos and to even film videos, it has gotten to the point where all I want is for this to be over, Yes, I love my group and I love the idea but my motivational levels have decreased insanely.

The other thing which is adding to my no motivation is the fact that once we post a video on youtube, we no longer promote it…. which I find very annoying as we have put so much time into editing and filming and it’s like we are doing it for nothing. *unpopular opinion, I know*
So, Our Idea has changed due to the facts that our group can never meet up or can never find a time where we are all free, unless it is an hour or so at night. Our group, has come up with the idea to film our own vlogs everyday, doing the activity that is meant to improve our happiness, and to edit and upload them on the Project Five YouTube page, and hopefully this will help with our uploading and filming issues….. I don’t have full faith in this idea, but hey, no harm in trying.
This blog post has been very negative so far, so let’s leave it on a positive note, Our group is becoming to understand that if we do put more effort and time into our DA, then we will have more views, more likes, more ‘fans’….. I love this DA and I do want to continue it, I just need to gain that motivation and passion back…… I got this… hopefully..

Let’s do this.

Hey Charlotte, I feel you so much on this blog so much. When you start feeling demotivated it kind snowballs into something worse huh. I hope the creative juices start kicking in soon! As for the blog I know you’re pretty down about it right now and there isn’t a lot to work with but reading your blog I think you have some good ideas on how to break and remake your DA so it can spark a creative thought so you can start working again. I feel like this blog needs to show me more stats, numbers, graphs even to give the readers better context on whats going on in this stage of your DA. I have faith in you and your group to get back on track we are all in this together! – Blake

Hey Charlotte, Wow. Relatable.
I couldn’t agree more, when you hit a curve-ball it’s hard to admit your original idea needs to be ideated and rapidly prototyped to potentially evolve into something you never set out to build. You’re very brave for trying a new tactic but I can promise you it will work in your favour. Speaking from personal experience and from Raymonds “Cathedral v Bazaar” article. Your project can’t be a perfect cathedral, it takes too long to build. Sometimes you need the commotion of a “babbling Bazaar” to find a steady idea that works x. I admire your effort and definitely think you should be promoting your videos, read this article on instagram influencers, they’re a proven credible source https://eds-b-ebscohost-com.ezproxy.uow.edu.au/eds/pdfviewer/pdfviewer?vid=2&sid=01c489bf-ff45-44f5-b2c6-a8f3de2bd158%40pdc-v-sessmgr01.
